After more than 9 years the Past and Future restaurant moved from Cologne (Germany) to Corralejo (Fuerteventura). As in Cologne, where once a butcher used the premises of the restaurant, the place in Fuerteventura used to be a restaurant with focus on goat meat, which we moved to a vegan, free animal-suffering, gourmet temple, because:
PAST stands for "Meat was yesterday" and FUTURE for "future food".

By the way, almost all dishes are gluten-free or gluten-free on request, as well as our home-baked, gluten-free bread.
The Past and Future offers à la carte a wide range of tapas, main dishes and desserts. Among the Canarian-Spanish specialties you will find the popular garlic-fried champignons (champinones salteados), pimientos del padron, papas bravas, canarian wrinkled potatoes with mojo sauce, fried canarian bananas, potato croquettes with fine smoked mayonnaise, the canarian stew and desserts out of local aloe vera.
Among the international dishes, there are numerous Italian and homemade delicacies - our ravioli in truffle soy cream sauce, tortellini with vegan sage butter and vegan Parmesan, lasagna, tagliatelle, spaghetti with seaweed, mozzarella from cashew nuts, but also Austrian bread dumplings, the soy schnitzel Viennese style, quinoa tabule, a lentil Indian style, soy chicken curry cocktail, a classic tiramisu and much more. Of course, everything is 100% vegan.
